I was born and raised in a small village in Greece to a family of weavers and embroiders. I grew up surrounded by the handwoven textiles made by my grandmother who hand spun her own wool, which she dyed with vegetables from her garden.

I began weaving over 20 years ago in San Francisco as a student of Peggy Ostercamp. My weaving journey has led me on a mission to push back against the increasingly mechanized world and produce my own sustainable cloth based on archival designs. Vulpine Cloth was created as my way to put every day chaos in order and create something honest and beautiful out of it. Using natural materials, zero waste and traditional weaving techniques I strive to produce small batches off functional one-of-a-kind high-quality timeless cloth that would be passed on for generations to come. My way to carry on the craft and pay homage to human labor.

I work out of my home studio in Oakland California with my two vintage looms, and my two studio assistant cats by my side. In my spare time I can be found propagating vintage roses, pedaling across town on my vintage Raleigh bicycle (my only means of transportation), listening to the opera and studying natural dyes. My heart beats for all things old.
